To qualify for the Kirkwood Refer a Friend Bonus, the referring customer must have an existing Kirkwood Bank & Trust (KBT) personal checking account. For the referring customer to receive the bonus, the newly referred personal checking account customer must meet all the offer criteria outlined below.
To qualify for the $100 Kirkwood Refer a Friend Bonus, the newly referred customer must 1) open an eligible personal checking account, 2) receive two direct deposits within 60 days of account opening date or complete a minimum of 10 qualifying KBT Visa® Debit Card purchase transactions within 60 days of account opening date, and 3) enroll for eStatements within 60 days of account opening date. Eligible personal checking account types include Free Checking Account, Green Checking Account, and K60 Checking Account. No APY for Free Checking or Green Checking Accounts. K60 Checking Account Tier 1, minimum balance of $5,000, and Tier 2, minimum balance of $0.01, annual percentage yield (APY) is .45% and .35%, respectively. K60 Checking Account rates may change after the account is opened. APY is accurate as of 3/1/2025. Fees could reduce the earnings on the account. Qualifying KBT Visa® Debit Card purchase transactions are those made using a KBT Visa® Debit Card to buy goods and services. ATM withdrawals do not qualify. The newly referred customer must not have any existing or prior personal checking accounts with KBT within the preceding 12 months. Account must remain open and active for at least 60 days to receive the bonus. Newly referred customer must provide referring customer’s first and last name at account opening. Once the offer criteria are met by the newly referred customer, a $100 bonus will be credited into the new personal checking account and the referring customer’s personal checking account no later than 75 days from the new account opening date.
The Kirkwood Refer a Friend Bonus may not be combined with other KBT deposit offers or promotions. KBT Employees and individuals subject to RESPA Section 8 (Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act – Regulation X) are not eligible for bonus.
